They've been pretty clear in their communications it's the Judeo-Christian ones they are OK with. Everyone else is a money stealing terrorist.

Funny that they describe immigrants as "imports", as if they are looking at an order sheet for Turkish Tylenol.

That they are this open about their bigotry speaks a lot about the confidence they have been given by the US, and are following the lead, thinking it's an inevitable path. We need to stop these monsters before we lose our province and our country.

I find it pretty transparent what is happening here. Smith wants the separatist referendum to happen in the fall. She didn't announce that, but it's a given. By starting with this, if the petition fails, she can say "well I know it didn't get enough signatures to meet the requirement, but we think it's a question worth asking anyway since we are already having these other referendums, we are going to ask it." If the petition succeeds, and either way, these questions really help drive their base to the voter booths. This was just baiting the cage.


It is also very Trumpian, in that it will be a massive distraction all summer and fall, that she can hide her failures behind, and continue to dismantle healthcare. The stories of people dying in hallways will be quickly buried by another tweet by Bruce The Bigot of 'Berta. It should be no surprise they use all the same manipulative tactics the American right has embraced with such success.

UCP voter, NDP voter, pro environment, pro business, rich or poor - these things don't matter.
What matters is that we have the moral strength to call out this vile divisive tactic by this premier.
Our schools are not struggling because there are too many English language learners. Our schools are struggling because the UCP funds education at the lowest rate in Canada. Yet if even one in ten Albertans buys into Smith's tactic of blaming each-other, my heart hurts at the prospect of a child being sent into school holding this kind of hate for their schoolmates.
Danielle Smith and her government are responsible for a litany of failures in healthcare, education, and the economy. The Premier is sowing hate and division to distract from the fact that her government is the real culprit. Albertans should not be fooled by this cowardly strategy.
There is only one vote I want. It's called an election. Then we can rid our province of the worst premier and the worst government in the historv of Alberta.
