Good call. Money for Nothing is actually in my opinion one of thei weakest singles. Other good under-rated Dire Straits tunes include Tunnel of Love, Lady Writer, The Bug, and Expresso Love

AC/DC - Satellite Blues
AC/DC - Down Payment Blues (ot the entire Powerage album)

Why on earth do they play Moneytalks and Thunderstruck at all?

Black Sabbath - Children of the Grave
Black Sabbath - Lord of this World
Ozzy Osbourne - Diary of a Madman

I wish they'd bury the song Crazy Train forever and start playing stuff that's actually good.

And great pick on Telegraph Road. 14+ minutes of greatness.

Agreed, I love these songs, they don't get played nearly enough.

I'll add one of my own too,
Simon and Garfunkel - A Hazy Shade of Winter

The exact song I was thinking of when I saw this thread. The Hotel California album is of course most famous for the title track, Life in the Fast Lane, and New Kid in Town, but The Last Resort is really amazing and under-appreciated.

Wow............I always knew you were an 80's kid, but it's a little crazy how similar we are that way. My first concert was Glass Tiger/Tom Cochrane in '86.

My most underated song is 'Tiny Dancer' by Elton John. Just watch 'Almost Famous' and try to to sing along to it.

Great scene, great tune.

Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters did an acoustic version of it on the Late Late show.......it was pretty well done as well.

Not a big fan of John's newer stuff, but Tiny Dancer is a classic.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

I almost posted that song, but it did get a ton of radio play when it first came out. Still, you never hear it now. I do though!
