I don't expect to see much shedding of cult members over a war with Iran, but it's an event we haven't seen yet in the Trump years. One thing for cultists to conscript themselves to poverty to own the libs as they love to do, another to have actual Americans dying in service of Israel. Be interesting to see how that goes.

I understand what you’re saying. But wide protesting coverage is being stifled by the MSM. The DOJ no longer functions by the rule of law. The SC no longer functions properly. Congress has ceded power to a fascist executive. Free and fair elections are being openly threatened. The entire western hemisphere is being openly threatened. People are being abducted and murdered in the streets. A criminal enterprise is running the show and will not relinquish power. Things are going to get even worse. I don’t believe protesting alone is going to change the trajectory. However, I also know that going against the full force of the US military is a serious problem. I’m just pretty emotional about what’s happening in this timeline.

ICE's own stats show that their use of force has been dramatically escalating since Trump took office, but have chosen instead to focus on a rise in violence against ICE officers and the prosecution of those civilians. No new training, of course.
The emails and incident reports show that cases of ICE and Border Patrol using force go beyond isolated instances circulating on social media and surges in major cities such as Minneapolis. They also show that agency leadership has been aware that nationwide, the agency’s officers are using more aggressive tactics as the Trump administration has sought to increase the number of deportations of unauthorized immigrants.
The emails and documents also do not reflect particular urgency on the part of ICE leadership to respond to that trend, either by directing more training or by establishing whether the increase tracks with a general increase in enforcement and deportation operations.
