It's perfect for stuff like Calgary/Edmonton/Vancouver - Cancun/PVR and Vegas once all the US nonsense is over. YYC-ATL/JFK... I can think of a lot of trunk routes in the network where WestJet would want to throw a few more seats at it but a second or third daily flight would be too many.
It also has absurdly low fuel burn per seat - WestJet will generate a heap of additional revenue from the extra seats at relatively little additional expense. The originally proposed 212-seat configuration would have been a torture tube that printed money. British Airways flew here with a 216-seat 787, which is a hilarious point of comparison.
