#50 giving Canada every save they needed to calm things down and keep them in it all game long. between this and the 4 Nations final, Binnington is him

It's crazy that they somehow played a full shift with 6 guys, scored a goal, still had 6 guys on the ice for the celebration, and the Canada bench didn't erupt.
And also explains why Harley makes that pinch, he beats his winger covering, would see the other guys, and then all of a sudden there is the extra forward there to block his shot. He's probably like WTF.
Crazy to me that the Canadian bench or players on the ice didnt' seem to realize it either.

I'm no McDavid fan but I'd go with McDavid as Canada's best, with Celebrini a close second. Czechs shut McDavid down later in the game today, but he's been the straw that stirs the drink in the majority of Canada's games.

Marner just oozes with skill and always seems to devastate the opponent in big moments. Funny though, if his shot goes wide or he loses the puck and the Czechs managed to turn it up ice fast for a 3 on 2, people are instead talking about how selfish a play that was to try and do it all himself!

That 6-men (potentially 7 up the ice if that Reddit thread is to be believed) on the ice is wild. Four zebras didn't see it?

He did the exact same thing today though. Difference being Czechs had maybe 7-8 very good scoring chances all game and 3 went in. His poor positioning and overplaying are still all there and will be a big issue once Canada plays a team that can go toe-to-toe with them like Sweden or USA.

This is what I was going to post. McDavid has been awesome
It feels so weird cheering for him.
I have seen him back-checking and caring about defense!
The rest of the team and coaching staff needs to stop watching him, cheering for him and deferring to him. It's so predictable and the Czechs were sending three guys at him (didn't work in OT against Marner, LOL)

Oh god, I was just breaking balls
#2 is certainly debatable though...meaningless games against bad teams aside I think Marner or Binnington take that now considering the tournament would be over with no medals if they didn't step up.
For me its what you do when the games on the line

I know you would use his jockstrap as a ventilator if you could but no.
Besides, Suzuki and Marner are the heroes today? Seems awkward and forced to be blabbing on about mcdavid at this point in time.
Today really isn't about him at all.

Even if players are deferring the puck to McDavid he's going to draw all the best players from the opposition. Especially when MacKinnon and Celebrini are on the same line. Just need the Mariners and Stones and everyone else to step up and expose every other teams serious lack of comparable depth and start scoring.
This is where Sam Bennett needs to be in the line up, this is his time.

To me you seem to have a grudge with the poster, and are still bitter the board called you out for calling him out on trade rumours, so it's just annoying IMO. He's a good poster.
Celebrini still had two points today and was on the ice for the Marner goal and his Prescence caused the defender to take a step his way which opened up space for Marner.
Binnington would probably be 3 at this point to me. Comes up big in big moments.
