I totally agree it's a toss up, I'm not saying any of these guys besides Bedard should clearly be there. I'm saying there was a different way to build the team if you'd wanted to do it. This roster and lineup isn't just clearly and obviously the right group of players, there was another way to do this.

I'm also not saying they can't win with these guys, they clearly can - this is basically the same approach they used in Sochi.

The bigger issue IMO is the d-core is not moving the puck fast enough to the forwards and not able to break up cycles effectively.
