Not better than Gretzky or Lemieux or Crosby.

I feel like I've seen this game before. Starting to have very deep Czechia scars.

Seems like Canada isn’t playing as physical as previous. And giving Czechs too much time and space .

Almost everything is saveable but I don't think that one would be saved by many. I'm not a Binnington fan at all but I don't fault him on this game yet.

Urgency and intensity needs to ratchet up big time for Canada or this is going to end badly.

I for one can't wait for the third period when we're down by 1-2 and Cooper has to put McDavid, Celebrini and MacKinnon back on the same line to generate any dangerous chances at even strength because we have all these "role players" on the squad.

Not to fault anyone when they're losing but the least impressive player has to be Suzuki. The guy hasn't done much in any game.

Tight checking game. Not giving Canada any space at all, coaches need to make adjustments.

There is always a few choices people will have fault with, but to suggest that Canada has a bunch of role players is absolutely ridiculous.

I’m not sure what non-role players are missing? Who are the offensive players who should be there?

They haven't really put Suzuki in a particularly good position. He should be the 4th line centre.

Celebrini McDavid Marner
Horvat MacKinnon Reinhart
Marchand Crosby Stone
Hagel Suzuki Wilson

Problem solved.

Lol.
The "role players" was tongue in cheek which is why I put it in quotes, and literally no one thinks Crosby and Marner can't generate offense for their linemates. But the rest of these guys - and others, Wilson etc., just aren't going to drive offense singlehandedly. They can finish, obviously, but they're not going to just... create a goal. There was a way to construct this roster so that regardless of which forward line is on the ice, the other team should be terrified, and should be relieved when that line steps off, but can't be because the next line is just as terrifying. But they didn't build the roster that way.
