He sucker punched a goalie this year in the French league and got a seven (I believe) game suspension. Fans and players weren’t happy about it and were less than impressed that he was named to their Olympic team

Yeah that was the straw that broke the camels back. But the guy was a controversial pick from the start, and seemingly was on thin ice all tourney.

but did he apologize? Its funny he was made out to be some big guy just trying his best and by total accident threw a dirty head hit.

Turns out he is the Raffi Torres of France who has been suspended multiple times.
