Felix just doesn't have it today. Simply having a bad day at work which seems to happen when facing players ranked higher than him.

Felix gets broken again and is now off-court for a MTO.

Yeah, but there's a reason Demon has made this final three years in a row. He has played really well today and looks poised to finally claim this title.

Oh well, s title and a finals appearance in back-to-back weeks has put Felix back in the top 10 in the race to Turin. Live rankings has Demon usurping Felix after his win today.

Still a good week for Team Canada, question is can they build this momentum, or will we not see them again till fall indoor season? I think Vicky leads the way towards bigger results in the spring hard court swing.

Leylah with a very much needed win over Samsonova in Dubai earlier today/overnight, but yeah, Vicky is looking fantastic and I hope she can keep things rolling (she's also playing Dubai this week).
Gabriel playing Delray Beach this week which has an incredibly strong field for a 250 with plenty of Americans.
/Felix taking the week off, rest up champ lol

Happy for Demon, I think this is his 11th title which is nothing to sneeze at. Unfortunately, 500 or masters titles are very likely as good as it will get for him, barring a lot of luck with Sincaraz.

Sincaraz are simply in a different weight class. There's nothing ADM can do that they can't with more pace to just overpower him. I actually thought FAA had a great shot to win today because he was striking the ball so well the past few weeks and thought he could overpower ADM but for whatever reason today he reverted to bad Felix. Tennis is an incredibly difficult sport mentally and these players have to be on point or winning against any ranked player is extremely difficult. Great overall weekend for Canadian tennis and hopefully all three of these players can maintain this level all year.

Yeah, looking forward to the Sunshine Double in March, Indian Wells is not a happy hunting ground with the slow court conditions, but Miami usually produces some pretty good results for the Canadians.

I think that is the plan, but she will likely have to go through qualifying. She was planning on playing the W125 event in Midland, Michigan this week, I'm not able to confirm if she is still in the field though.

With Ben Shelton winning Dallas just now, all three Canadians that went deep this week in their respective tourneys lost to the eventual champion. Shapo certainly has to be kicking himself, he had his chances against Ben and just missed getting over the line.

As past champion, no free pass?

They could certainly offer her a main draw wildcard, but they usually reserve those for up and coming Americans. Bianca might prefer to go through qualifying just to get some more match play as well.
