Yeah. But every time a pass results in a goal, people say 'beautiful!' and every time it doesn't work, people say 'shoot it!'. That is just how it has always been, and always will be.

He has 2 points and is very visible?

Exactly. You don't have to shoot from everywhere (although it's not a bad thing if you do), but if you're standing in home plate with no one between you and the net with time to get your "A" shot off, you shoot that puck. Your chances of beating the goalie on that are almost always higher than getting a pass through a defender and then the recipient of said pass finishing the play.
A pass off the pads is also acceptable but get that puck on the net.

Your bias is showing. He’s been fine.
Also your concern for goals is hilarious.

I can. It's not likely but anything up to 10-0 is potentially possible depending on how much they put into it.

It was your statement that said he was invisible that shows your bias.
He is the most visible player on the ice, outside of the France goaltender.

Im dumbfounded that anyone is complaining about ANYTHING to do with this team.
They are a machine and playing at a level i doubt any other country can match.
I suppose its just inherent among hockey fans to complain mind you, but its so inherently unnecessary in this case.
This club starting to look like the Sochi group...which was probably the most dominant team in Olympic history once NHL players were allowed.

Celebrini has been betterIMO. McDavid should have 3 more points but he flubbed some passes.

Okay, how about if I described it as going at 70%?
That play in the last minute was a perfect example - he could have put in the effort to push through the defenseman along the boards, and win a battle, but he just gave up.
Of course McDavid is going to have touches. Of course he is going to make some passes when he gets the puck. But the effort to fight through, to finish plays, isn't always there with him.
It isn't bias, it's on display pretty regularly with him.

Obviously you’re right…
The thing with McDavid is that he feasts on mistakes and weaker talent like none other. His speed and finish makes him so deadly. He is incredibly opportunistic.
Until he raises his game against the best, I don’t think he warrants the ‘Best’ title.
