I mean, the lies and deflections are to be expected from these pathetic idiots, but the entitlement and smugness in a setting like this was something else.

What are they saying? I'm curious. Do they admit she's lying?

Yup, he’ll obviously just veto it. Sadly this is nothing more than a symbolic vote. Even if the Supreme Court ends up ruling against the tariffs at some point, this administration will simply ignore it.

They'll pretty much have to. It would be an administrative nightmare to try and figure out how to refund all the tariffs already paid out.

I suppose they could just keep them on... what could it hurt

Ford said the US car maker's tariff costs were $900m (£660m) higher than expected last year because of a last minute change to the Trump administration's tariff relief program.

Chief executive Jim Farley said Ford spent double what it had expected on tariffs in 2025 - roughly $2bn - due to "the unexpected and late year change in tariff credits for auto parts".

Ford's higher-than-expected tariff bill underscores the volatility automakers continue to face as they grapple with tariff costs and lobby for exemptions from the levies.

I would bet all the money that Bondi already has a signed pardon in her pocket. Theres no way that she is doing what she is doing without it.

Lieu and others were magnificent today.

These are the sort of well-crafted call outs in these under oath settings that could plant seeds of doubt in the minds of republican viewers.

Walked the scripted traitorous AG and her circular logic into a few traps and got her on mic getting hot under the collar due to being backed into a corner.

The discrepancies in her and Lutnick's statements under oath have outed them both as undisputed liars.

We're probably moving closer to trump sacrificial lambing Bondi, depending on how the narrative looks on state media.

3 years (or less) isn't a long time to be able to scoff and look down your nose at people, systems, and laws that would've otherwise applied unfavorably to them at any other point in American history.

Unless they pull off cancelling elections forever more and keep the population from initiating a coup, knowing the bulk of the population wants them out, they are on borrowed time even being able to do what they're doing.

There will be life beyond this trump experiment (a guy who could drop dead of complications from his ailments any day), and going down as his yes-man or yes-woman will prove to be one of the most shortsighted moves someone could make for their career and well-being.

Trump can't guarantee them anything after he's gone. He only cares about what stranglehold on power he can manage to achieve while he's here as the malignant narcissistic sociopath with worsening impulse control thanks to the frontotemporal dementia. And if he knows the ending is coming, he'll just ramp up the insanity that they'll have to answer for. How much longer will it be worth it for them lol.

You don't expect them to be good at much given that they were hand picked by king humpty dumpty to do his bidding, but these scumbags have shockingly poor sense for self-preservation. Like how do they think this ends for them, exactly?

Hope it's worth the coming prison sentences (and disbarment for Pam).

Maybe, even if she avoids jail we are witnessing a 35 year career as a successful attorney being flushed down the drain all for the 2nd biggest con in human history.

The giant failure for me is that Biden, Garland and Harris had 4 years to deal with these creeps

The president and vice president are not supposed to interfere with the DOJ, so there’s not much they could do here. Garland was investigating Jan 6 as well as the stolen classified documents and through the appointment of Jack Smith, but time ran out. There’s a serious problem with the American justice system when appeal after appeal can be filed to stall justice. However, a better choice over Garland could have been made to go after Trump for his attempted insurrection. But Biden selected a then respected moderate pick for optics and confirmation.

As far as the Epstein files, there were still ongoing investigations when Garland was in charge, which prohibited evidence from being released to the public.

Pam Bondi once rescued an orphan's dog that was lost during hurricane Katrina and then refused to give it back once it was discovered
