There's a red cross-eyed joke in there somewhere.

The Olympics started off with a bang and has now fizzled a bit. Canada looks like a head and shoulders best. When they meet the States in the final I wouldn’t be surprised if they won 7-2 or something. A bit anticlimactic without Russia there too.

Andersson being the odd man out is interesting.

Feels like Flames really did make the right decision to move him before the Olympics.

Round robin doesn't always mean a lot in these tournaments.

Teams dominate the round robin and lose, teams struggle in the round robin and win, etc.

The best hockey hasn't even happened yet in this tournament.

I think everyone's just waiting for the quarters.

His foot speed was always going to be an issue going forward.

Surely they’d have messed it up by having equal KHL players on there and defence issues, but there would be more competition. Ultimately I understand why they’re out. But more competition at the top would be nice. The Czech’s, Finn’s, and Swedes have looked so average this tournament so far. Normally they give teams fits.

I didn't post because I didn't want the "ex Flame hater" comments but he was being lit up defensively in the games I watched. Pretty sure he was scratched last game too.

Curious how the contract he ends up getting compares to what Boston offered

His foot speed going backwards is an issue, too.

Slovakia vs Germany and Pissy keeps diving and then whining to the refs when they don't give him the call the NHL does.

Third dive is the charm and Pissy finally gets his way on another dive.

I think Vegas will offer 8x7 and he'll accept. Keeps the annual number reasonably low for Vegas. Term doesn't matter cause they'll kick him to the curb the moment his play drops or they need room for another star.
