only just saw the ending, made perfect sense to me. You can theoretically give the advantage, but because Haaland fouls Szoboszlai, the goal can't stand. So it's a red for Szoboszlai because he commits the foul first, denying Haaland. Bit confusing, but they got it right in the end, I think.

Yeah they got it 100 per cent right, and it didn't even take that long. EPL reffing sucks but gotta give praise when it's due.

They got it right, but it still seemed wrong.

Maybe the EPL could make it up to City by reducing the charges to 114, and then make it up to everybody else by ####ing doing something about them.

Don't waste your energy, the most that will come of any charges will be a slap on the wrist.

Surely Frank is gone if all of these results hold. Would only be three points clear of relegation, so need to cash that "New Manager Bounce in the Bank" case before its too late.

If Spurs are going to sack him, now is the time. Next Premier League match is in twelve days, on February 22 home to Arsenal. A likely defeat there would surely be the end of him.

Spurs need to be careful, I didn't ever see them in a relegation scrap this season but West Ham are playing very well and I expect them to stay up.

Nuno will keep West Ham up. I reckon it's between Spurs and Forest as Burnley and Wolves are too far gone.

You'd think Spurs have the depth to save themselves.

Finally. And the articles coming out already make this seem like an appointment that shouldn’t have happened, never mind how long it carried on.

Yeah. I can see how things started out alright, but he quite clearly lost the room months ago, and the board has just dithered and taken too long to do anything. I think that after the suicidal system that Ange played, the pendulum swung too far back the other way, and the team was sitting back in matches where they should've been taking the game to their opponents.

Apparently, the plan is to have someone in place by Monday, and the issue is whether they will be a caretaker or permanent. There's a lot riding on this, all of a sudden, with only a small margin for error.

I just hope there isn't a new manager bounce for the next game. I understand you will see things a little differently.

just another example of why you shouldn't touch managers from clubs like Brentford or Brighton. Those clubs are incredibly well run, rely heavily on data and recruitment and don't really miss a beat once they change managers. Potter and Frank badly failed once they left that setup.

The only one I'd probably take a flyer on from the PL is Iraola because he's clearly developed that team and implemented his own style. I saw he's gradually taken them from 40 to 44 to 48 to 50 percent possession or something like that, which is incredibly impressive.

and not to defend Frank, but I think that Spurs squad is incredibly underwhelming. Midfield pretty much only has runners (just had to bring in one more of those in Gallagher, because reasons), and there's very little creativity. No difference makers like Kane or Son anymore either. Frank did poorly, but it's still a midtable squad.

I'd imagine Frank replaces Glasner at Crystal Palace. Feels like a decent fit.

Well it's been a few decent weeks for United, so might as well try and #### it up lol.

On the subject of teams in some relegation trouble, Brighton and Palace surely can't be feeling too great right now. And big dropped points for Forest against Wolves.

The irony of this is staggeringly delicious.

Oh...the UK is being 'Colonized by Immigrants' is it? Maybe we should ask most of the rest of the world how it felt being Colonized by the UK for hundreds of years??

Turnabout is fair play pal.

Apparently Spurs are talking to de Zerbi and he left Marseilles last night. I’m not sure how to feel about that.
