The last Second Chance semi was a really great game.
They all have been, actually. But this one in particular

I haven't checked the stats but it seems like the accuracy rate for Final Jeopardy has been quite low.
Might be why these folks needed a 2nd chance. Hard to win Jeopardy without getting the last question.

What an inspiration Harvey Silikovitz is.
Congrats bro. I'll shut up about #### I can't do, for a minute or two at least.

The ToC boards are insanely hard this year. It's always been harder compared to regular J!, but these feel like a step up from previous tournaments - they feel more like Masters-level clues

That was perhaps the strangest game of Jeopardy I've seen.
Part of the TOC tournament. They've started to include the winner of celebrity jeopardy, which generally I think is cool, but W. Kamau Bell was way over his head.
Alex gets 29 correct responses, and for most of the game is the only one ringing in. I think he rang in for the last 10-15 answers straight. At one point he is up by nearly double, but he gets 2 straight daily doubles wrong, and loses the lead. He gets it back but then blows final jeopardy, which stumped all 3.
Ashley wins with only 8 correct answers the entire night. That might be a record for one of the most undeserving wins ever.
In total Alex buzzed in 35 times, Ashely 11 times and Kamau 6.
Basically Alex was playing himself. And lost.

Remember when Ike Barinholtz won a match and nearly won the semifinal over Ben Chen!
The celeb champs are pretty good, Kamau must have ran into categories he didn't know.

Thing is, I think Ike has played in competitive online trivia leagues like LearnedLeague for a long time now. He’s also won the Celeb version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Definitely a gap in skill level between him (who showed he can be competitive with a Jeopardy champ and play in a ToC) and Kamau who clearly knew he was out of his depth and was just happy to be there. I think Kamau would struggle with a regular season Jeopardy board
Will be interesting to see how Lisa Ann Walter does tonight, I’m guessing her performance will be similar to Kamau’s

Yeah she really struggled. A complete non factor
And Ashley got rolled in the semifinal. I think she had 3 correct responses and was barely even trying to buzz in

Surprisingly lopsided ToC final
Paolo was dominant at every part of the game, I thought Scott would show more
