The Mixed Team Figure Skating event begins at 01:55 with Canada's Paul Poirier and Piper Gilles skating in the Rhythm Dance.

Mixed Doubles Curling Round Robin continues at 02:05 as Gallant and Peterman (3-0) take on the usa (2-0).

At 03:35 the Mixed Team Figure Skating continues with the Pair's Short Program. Lia Pereria and Trennt Michaud are the Canadians for this event.

France plays Japan in Women's Hockey at 04:10.

Women's Short Program for the Mixed Team Figure Skating starts at 05:35 and Madeline Schizas is the Canadian.

More Mixed Doubles Curling begins at 06:35.

Czechia plays Switzerland in Women's Hockey at 06:40.

The Opening Ceremony begins at 12:00 and will be on CBC. I believe it will also be on TSN1 and SNW.

Finnish womens team had 14 skaters in practice today, up from 8 in their last practice. They can "hopefully" ice enough of a team tomorrow against USA.

Can't even imagine trying to play competitive sports right after norovirus, sheesh.

Watching the opening ceremonies and the hosts are already bothering me with their over the top descriptions of everything and the over exuberant Italian pronunciations of everything. Just stay quiet and allow a person to watch.

Bit sad thinking these ceremonies could have been here today.

But also, it was 17 degrees yesterday.

TNT, NBC and BBC seem to be showing a more complete broadcast of the ceremony with less commercials than CBC.

CBC skipped an entire monologue.

The US broadcast when live isn't half bad, it's when they cut it up and repackage it for the primetime broadcast that they will dumb it down and talk all over it

The amount of AI ads on both CBC and NBC is going to be outrageous.

It seems obvious now to have athletes march in even in the remote locations

Quick note that Pastrnak, Draisaitl and Niederreiter will be flag bearers for their respective countries.

FWIW and for those with access, TNT Sports(UK) has not had a single ad, split screen or otherwise in the last 30 min.
