Today, Matveiko gets 1a, and was +1 with his MHL squad, in a 6-3 win over MHK Atlant Mitishchi, with 18:54 TOI. 35gp/13g/18a/31pts,+21, 16 PIM. He is tied for 56th in MHL scoring, and tied for 35th in plus/minus.

GREAT sign that he played a VHL game this season, and even better that he produced in short ice time.

I think he could maybe hit a KHL squad next year. That would be brilliant.

Stockselius gets another game in the SHL, but is all zeroes in 8:34 TOI.

No points for Leander, with a -1, and 4 PIM in a 7-3 loss to Linkoping. 28gp/2g/6a/8pts,+2, 55 PIM. His team, HV71, are tied for second-last in the 20-team U20 league, with the second-worst goals-against, and the 9th-least goals-for.

Zarubin stops 24 of 25 (.960%) in a 3-1 win over SKA-1946 St.Petersburg. He is 19-8-0, with a 2.03 GAA (13th), and a .931 SV% (10th).

Zarubin stops 20 of 23 (.870 %) in 30:40 of a 7-2 loss to SKA-1946 St.Petersburg. He is 19-9-0, with a 2.09 GAA (T-14), and a .929 SV% (15th).

Last night, Yegorov stops 39 of 41 (.951 %) in 48:11 of a 5-4 OT loss to Kapitan Stupino. He is 9-11-0, with a 2.58 GAA (39th), and a .928 SV% (17th).

Last night, Stonks got another game in the SHL, posting 2 PIM and 1 shot on goal.

Yegorov stops 21 of 25 (.840 %) in 27:52 of an 8-2 loss to Almaz Cherepovets. He is 9-12-0, with a 2.69 GAA (46th), and a .925 SV% (T-21st).

Do all these Russians play in the same league? Seems odd that the forward who's nearly a PPG is 55th in scoring while these goals have 920 save percentages and are 20th in the league. Is there 50 shots per game?

Matveiko missed some games at the beginning of the season and most teams have played around 45 games I beleive.

There is also 39 teams in the MHL. The 55th-leading scorer in the WHL for example, has 44 points in 49 games.

Yeah - but they don't have 30 goalies in the league with 920 save percentages.

But the lack of games by Matveiko explains it.
