Fire up the petition to kindly ditch Hrudey so he can become the Oilers colour man FFS.

McDavid & Draisaitl with 8:36 & 8:31 through 1 period against the bottom dweller Flames. Mangiapane and Lazar with 2:06 and 1:45 each. All of Calgary's players, rookies and waiver pick ups, have more ice time. You just love to see what a useless "team" the Oilers have become.

Exactly what they are.

Gridin is probably the first star forward of our next core.

Looks comfortable and has all kinds of upside yet.

Man, really wish Honzek had stayed healthy. Love seeing the kids contributing.

The Oilers are an average team with the power plays – 14th in the standings, 18th by points percentage.

Without the power plays, they're downright bad.

They're mid pack in HDCF% & xGF% this year too. They blame the goalies, but this is a team playing way worse hockey than last year. You love to see it.

They won’t say it in the broadcast but McDavid was part of why Gridin’s goal happened. He was too aggressive on the forecheck on the penalty kill trying to pressure Weegar to do the bump back early. That stretches the oilers defence too thin be making them sit up closer to neutral zone to keep the gap smaller. Weegar and Gridin took advantage. Weegar did not do a bump back and instead made a stretch pass.

It’s never McDavids fault, greatest player in the world.

Just came back from a piss break, who is the nerd inbetween Abbott and Francis?

Edit: I better clarify I see calling someone a nerd as a compliment.

Francis kissing McDavid's ass way more than Hrudey ever does.

Talking about the "beautiful things that these Oilers do" and how "are we ever to start falling in love with Connor McDavid".
