Sounds like an endorsement of the coaching and training staff at Quinnipiac. He's a pretty smart kid and trusts that they'll take him to where he wants to go.
If he wants another year there, that's fine by me.

He's leading a league dominated by 22 YO men. I think he would be just fine.
In College they have him listed as 5'11" and 185lbs. I also think he will be fine. It isn't like he is Gaudreau tiny, has a good 30lbs on Gaudreau. There are 8 Flames around that weight on the roster now.
Boeser had a pretty big regression from his D+1 to his D+2 in the NCAA.
If Wyttenbach improves next season, I think his potential is closer to Johnny than it is to Boeser (which sounds ridiculous to say about a guy the Flames drafted less than 8 months ago in the 5th round).
Boeser lost his two linemates in Drake Caggulia and Nick Schmalt, the trio was very good that season. If Wyttenbach "regresses" point totals next season I'm not concerned unless it's a dramatic drop. If he continues to get stronger, rounds out his game, plays in the World Juniors those would all be great too

Loved that he's dialed in on the details of his game, nutrition, strength. What a fantastic story so far.

How many Flames prospects may see WJC action next year?
Wyttenbach
Potter
Reschny
Stockselius
2026 1st round (x2?)
Mews?
I dont think Parekh goes back, he'll be FT NHL next season. Probably the most potential Flames prospects for a WJC.
Parekh is twenty in a week so he's not eligible, same with Mews (march)but ya hopefully we see a good showing. I don't think world junior success means much for success in the NHL but it's always nice watching the tournament if your favorite team has prospects involved

including tonight, Quinnipiac has 8 regular season games remaining; the ECAC playoffs could add as many as 6 more games, and the Frozen Four Tournament could be another 4 games
I would guess Quinnipiac has at least 14 more games. Wytter, with 44 points has a pretty good shot at a 60pt freshman season
Gaudreau had 44 pts in his freshman season; Wytter has already tied it after 28 games and 1 period
