I actually didn't, I said he was better defensively, based on basically every defensive metric. And I said it LAST YEAR.

I also said Ras was the better overall player.

If you think the Flames would or should trade Frost for a first you don't have a clue. You don't though you are just trying to be edgy.

Seems like your barometer is the name on the back of their jersey. Ya we know Tij is a good prospect, we just like our guy more and you are not making any coherent arguments about what makes Tij more valuable. I noted Zaynes position is more valuable, others have pointed out Parekh statistically is better and was better at the WJC. What exactly is your argument for Tij besides “you all would be happy if the Flames took him at 6”

That is an actual fact...guy isn't Nathan Mackinon

Zayne's ceiling is up there with the top guys, no gurantees but you don't trade that. Breaking Bobby Orr records is a hell of a thing to scoff about.

Boys boys boys…. I feel guilty as I raised the question as to what it would take to pry Tij out of Utah. But in my defence I didn’t suggest giving up Zayne. Would Utah consider something that didn’t include Zayne? Would you give up multiple picks plus vets? Is he that good? Of course the idea of having another Iggy is incredibly romantic.

I would worry about the pressure of the name...would that hurt his development? would the Flames be overpaying because of the name? Who knows. I would give up a lot, not Zayne but what is he worth?

Would you give up say the 4th pick this draft? Obviously you can't give up top 3

It would probably have to be 4th overall this year plus a first rounder next year.

I would. Especially if I’m the guy in the Flames front office in charge of selling boxes and tix in the new building….
