I thought Walker was always on the roster since he wasn't a UFA. Hopefully he spent some time this winter throwing passes and getting his accuracy down.
It would have been nice to have Ford as a backup though

Brissett should be a more than adequate replacement for Alford (at least we can hope that he is). Still need to find someone to fill Rhymes' shoes, though.

The Toronto Argonauts have released pending free agent linebacker Wynton McManis.
The 31-year-old missed five regular-season games in 2025 but still had a productive year with the team, recording 62 defensive tackles, four sacks, two interceptions, and one forced fumble. He was the highest-paid at his position in the CFL, earning $229,500.

I agree but there have been reports that Hamilton is the likely landing spot.

Many of 3DownNation‘s top 50 pending free agents still do not have agreements for 2026, including Kurleigh Gittens Jr., Dominique Rhymes, McLeod Bethel-Thompson, Jovan Santos-Knox, Anthony Lanier II, Joshua Coker, William Stanback, Sean McEwen, Dalton Schoen, Lorenzo Mauldin IV, and C.J. Avery.
