Weegar would go a long way solidifying their defense

I'm really hoping this is rock bottom for Weegar, just as last season was for Anderson. We've seen what he can do, so hopefully it's just a well timed awful season. Same story for Wolf - if you're going to pick a spot to have an inevitable off year, this is it.

That was a fun game. Gridin is going to be a good player.

Love how quickly Gridin thinks the game. Great game from him.

That has been very noticeable with him. Before the puck gets to him he seems to know what he is going. That quick shot or pass is creating scoring chances or scoring.

Nice win infront of the home fans! Wolf kept the goals to 2 with a strong performance and Gridin does what seems to be most difficult this season: finish.

Missed the entire game (bar the last 2 min on the radio). Watched the highlights....looks like a goalie battle at times and some terrific opportunities. Glad to see the boys stop the loss train at 5...now they can go back to winning...at least for the next two games for sure!

Gridin looks like he might end up as a star.

This is the first game of a 3 game winning streak before they settle back down to earth after the Olympic break. Hopefully we will see a lot of goals from this group over the next two games.

I'll forgive a win on a gridin goal and stingy wolf performance.

Get back into the L column next game.

Considerate of the team to pause the tank for a win on my birthday, maybe the next one too. Then back to the regularly scheduled program.

Kind of cool to see Frost beasting of late too. Maybe he has another gear after all?

I was pretty annoyed to watch the team put out a “defensive” group to work their own late PP only to give up what should have been a sure goal on a rush chance against. Not a lot of smart play near the end, just fortunate that Wolf made his two best stops late.

Cool win though, go win the next couple.

Turned into a great night. Flames win, Oilers lose and I win $750 playing the VLT's
