Really hard to believe she's gone... Such a Canadian icon throughout the years. So many iconic roles, and apparently a tremendous person as well. She was still working frequently as well. Really sad news to end the week.

Catherine O’Hara was a true giant of comedy who made me laugh throughout my life. As a teen, i absolutely adored her on SCTV.

Still in shock.. grew up with her since her first day on SCTV. Just like Candy, I’m in awe of her but, because we had her longer, this one is hurting more. “When you lose someone you love, they never really leave you. They just move into a special place in your heart.”

Like many Canadians, I grew up watching SCTV. She was too young. A true Canadian legend and icon.
