I think the Stamps need to upgrade at WR. We don't know how long it will take for Begelton to get back to where he was prior to injury and too many of their import receivers are into their 30's now. I'm hoping Dave is aggressively perusing KeeSaun Johnson.

The B.C. Lions have released veteran linebacker Micah Awe.
Awe was under contract for another season, but became expendable when the Lions signed Darnell Sankey.

I don't think there's much tread left on Awe's tires. Also, he plays on the edge and often loses sight of where the edge is, I think there are other options to pursue.

The Canadian Football League has announced $10 million dollars in revenue growth for the 2025 season, pushing next year’s salary cap up to nearly $6.3 million.
“The energy around our sport has never been stronger,” commissioner Stewart Johnston said in a statement. “We’re seeing meaningful growth in fan engagement and revenue, and we’re channelling that momentum back into the league. As our business expands, the players who make our game outstanding are sharing in the upside, reinforcing a model built for long-term success.”

Was it EE suggesting that DD should go after KeeSean Johnson? Oh well.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American receiver KeeSean Johnson to a two-year contract extension through the 2027 season, per sources. He was scheduled to become a free agent in February.

The Calgary Stampeders have released Canadian long snapper Aaron Crawford, who was under contract for 2026.
The 39-year-old native of Medicine Hat, Alta. played three regular-season games with the team in 2025, though he underwent knee surgery in September.

I like this signing, I thought Wilson was very good for the Stamps last season.
The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed American linebacker Kyle Wilson. He was slated to hit free agency on February 10.
Wilson began the 2025 season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, but was released after two games. He signed with the Stampeders on June 26, 2025, filling in at middle linebacker for the injured Marquel Lee. In 16 combined games with the two teams, the 30-year-old posted 67 defensive tackles, six special teams tackles, one forced fumble and one knockdown.

I've always liked the cut of Kurleigh's jib, but I think DD has some bigger fish to fry. If DD can find the room to bring him in, it would be a nice add.
