Looks like his confidence is catching up.
Don't #### this up Huska. We're watching you.

Huska would probably ask him why he didn't throw the puck in the corner instead of the risky spin move

It sure used to. Goalies like Hiller always played that RVH position where they covered the low sharp angle and kind of dared you to fit the puck over the shoulder. It was how they were coached(I think the commentator even describes the position).

While he’s still learning- the goalie on the play- Fowler - has already played well in the NHL this year and is viewed as one of the top couple goalie prospects in the league

I wouldn't mind seeing Stromgren get more of a look. There is a lot of talent there.

Hoping the WJC plus some AHL success will allow Parekh to find his footing at the NHL level.
Didn't help that the team couldn't score a goal when he was in the lineup. Sadly I guess we are back to that now.
Anyways, good to see some success for the player before coming back to the show.

I personally won't be too worried if he isn't putting up any points. I just want to see him avoid some of the types of hits he has received thus far at the NHL level - that's the first and most important adjustment I would want to see from his game. We all know the points will come sooner or later - this kid is way too talented.
I said it once, and I will say it again - if the Flames get McKenna, I can only imagine how damn fun it would be watching these two play off of one another and create chances for their teammates. Would be a heck of a lot of fun watching Flames games again.

I am happy for Huska and the Flames to be patient with Gridin. Next year is his chance to be an impact player.
I hope he can take a few lessons down to the AHL over the Olympic break, and gets given another shot after the trade deadline to apply what he was working on.

From what I get from limited viewings ... the guy goes to another level when he's productive. I think it weighed on him to have one point in 11 games.
Some puck luck (or just luck) early would go a long way.

Regardless, there was space there and Zayne found it. Not every player could pull that move and hit that spot from that angle.

Markstrom would have let that in. And any Oiler goalie.
