Read the question. He didn’t ask what you wouldn’t do but what you would do.

Some reading comprehension would help you out a bit.

Neither of those answered the question

I actually 100% agree it should be a no brainer,

But at this exact moment, it is not. Which is the problem.

Tim Walz is still being very careful to look for a peaceful resolution at the moment, but I assure tens of millions, maybe a hundred million or more in America would have have been perfectly fine with him marching the national guard in taking control of the crime scene by force if required and arresting the 6-8 of them that dog piled Alex. This is already a violent situation.

If you watch the video taken by the pink coat person, thus was a flat out execution.
No other way to interpret it

Why is anyone attempting to engage in genuine dialogue with bad faith actors who gleefully suckle at the teat of authoritarianism? Punch yourself in the ballsack instead, the end result will be the same

It's -20 C today in Minneapolis. If people are willing to go out and demonstrate in this weather, just wait summer assuming this stuff is still going on.

Looking forward Vance's attempt at extracting a self-defense argument out of this one.

Ice should have staged this murder better for their superiors' sake.

He has already said that it was an assassin trying to murder federal agents.

Crazy stuff. More crazy stuff.

Victim labeled a "domestic terrorist" before an investigation is started, let alone completed.

Stated that the victim "intended maximum damage" to ICE agents due only to legally possessing a weapon, according to initial reports.

Doesn't MAGA staunchly defend the second amendment? But then when a legal carry US citizen is murdered, the narrative is that he "approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun". Technically correct, I suppose, but he did nothing with the weapon. He had it on him. Legally.

I don't see where this ends.

I can't help but wonder how much worse things would get today in Minneapolis if it wasn't -20. Tough conditions to protest and clash.

I just heard on the TV behind me as I type this that there were ten shots in total.

I agree it’d be a terrifying situation. I’m not sure what I would do, prob be a huge puss. But I could see how people would think there’s only one thing left to do, and no I don’t think it’s a “no brainer”. Normally people should be able to rely on laws and law enforcement to protect them. When that is gone, what is left to protect them but themselves?

The truth is that the most powerful group in this situation is not ICE, and not the government, it is the people. They just need to get out in force and united, and they’ll have ICE removed overnight.

You basically have 2 choices. Do nothing, hope it all goes away / gets better on its own. Or do something violent / uprising. If they are now summarily executing people, it starts to lead to only having 1 real option or you’re next.

Yeah. The message I get from this is that they think they have the right to take down a guy shopping at Publix just because he looked at them funny.

Publix is our biggest grocery; we have open carry.

Her video and at least 2 others are out on reditt and youtube now.

At the very least it is clear, he was holding his phone in his hand not a gun.

He seemed to be standing in the street directing traffic as either ice blocked some vehicles or some vehicles blocked ice.

He seemed to use his body to shield a woman they shoved the the ground while clearing civilians off the road, at which point they dog piled him.

It seems a man dressed in grey who probably was with one of the DHS/ice groups grabbed a concealed gun he was carrying from his pants / holster and exited the dog pile.

a few seconds later he was shot several times, at which point all of ice jumped back, and he was laying lifeless on the ground.

then his lifeless body was shot at least twice more.

All of that can be clearly seen in the videos.

Seeing him there and the agents backing away after the shooting is something I’ll never forget. How can anyone see that and not cry their eyes out, and then get angry to the point of feeling physically ill.

The only other thing I will add is that they were clearly pepper sprayed first (the shooting victim and the two others nearby).

There’s very few reasons a police officer should be shooting someone dead, and it sure as #### isn’t resisting arrest or driving away in a vehicle.

Makes you wonder what ICE does to people when the cameras are not rolling if they do that with the cameras rolling.
