If it's the Great Canadian Jersey why am I struggling to find a Flaming C among all that vomit inducing array of ugliness? Just as well I suppose.

"If we get a better goalie then Skinner the cup is ours" - Barked the Oilers fans.
"Nope, not even Jaque Plante could succeed behind that team, and Draisaitl and McDavid are a major problem without the puck" - Smirked us Flames fans
"You're wrong, your big dummy dumb dumbs" - Whined the Oiler fans in reply.
Flash forward
"Tell your sister you were right Luke, tell her" sobbed the Oiler fans.

Have the Oilers tried signing the ESET Net Protection guy? He's stopping everything! Someone has to!

One of the strangest contracts of all time. Can't imagine what Frederic's agent thought receiving that offer

Hope McDavid is getting his dinner paid by Trent. He gets TF's points produced in a game.

uhoh, Staples turning on the GM- well not really - just Mang and Frederic
https://ca.news.yahoo.com/stan-bowma...025404409.html
every other transaction has been pure perfection:
1. Bowman’s good moves? Trading for Vasily Podkolzin and Ty Emberson to help mend the colossal Holland/Jackson screw-up on Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg; signing free agent centre Curtis Lazar; trading for promising attacker Ike Howard; signing excellent young free agent prospects Quinn Hutson, Viljami Marjala, Josh Samanski, and Damon Carfagna; claiming Kasperi Kapanen, Max Jones and Regula on waivers; signing Jack Roslovic; moving out Stu Skinner and Brett Kulak for Tristan Jarry; trading for Connor Ingram; re-signing Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid; trading a first round pick to bring in Jake Walman; moving out Cody Ceci to get more cap space.
although as always our man seems a bit confused. Max Jones wasn't a waiver claim- he came along with Frederic for a collection of picks (including a 2nd) and prospects. the oilers did put him on waivers though

I’d love to see what Staples said about Holloway and Broberg at the time.

Wasn’t it staples who put out the article about how they’re better without them? Because Holloway got injured or something like that

I like how after the Washington goal, they had to show a bunch of replays of Bouchard's goal a few minutes earlier to make themselves feel better.

Good thing they got rid of those sieves Skinner and Pickard for Jarry and Ingram. Now they have reliable goaltending that can be counted on for at least *checks game stats* a .750 save % and 5.29 GAA before getting pulled and having the tandem come in and save the day with a .867 and 5.00 GAA. Plan the parade!

Congrats to the Oilers on barely squeaking by another garbage non-playoff team. Parade back on, baby!
Another terrible game from the Oilers in the goals against department. That s*** ain't gonna cut it in the post-season, ya losers. Especially against an actual playoff-calibre team who can roll 4 lines.
And with no 3 on 3 skills comps in the playoffs, the Oilers' only hope is to dive and grab sticks for McPPs and pray that McLoser and Pissy can continue to log 30+ minutes a night without getting tired. Those guys have logged a ton of minutes over the last couple of seasons and they're already starting to look worn out.

Chicken Soup for the soul knowing Flames fans are spending Saturday night watching the Oil. Flames are completely irrelevant—so nobody would blame you for picking up a McDavid jersey and making it official.

Looks like the tiny peen brigade has arrived after their nasty clown team beat one out of three opponents playing on back to backs in extra time, all at home.
I heard you guys haven't beaten a playoff team in over a month, but maybe with a few more favorable match ups against tired clubs you'll have a shot.
Skinner to Jarry was a sick upgrade!

it's not even the string of games where they get teams tired on the second night of back to backs... all these teams (including the oilers upcoming game against the ducks) will be the teams 3rd game in 4 nights.
opponents played in vancouver, day off, then calgary and then the next night in edmonton. except the ducks - the ducks played in seattle on friday, got yesterday off and now play calgary/edmonton b2b
