Anyway, back to tv… I know Severance is revered, but the first 2 episodes have just made me sleepy. Like, I feel my eyes getting droopy at the sound of Adam Scott’s voice.
I agree. I mean we watched most of it, and may possibly finish last 4 episodes of S2 one day (because of momma's OCD), but I'd be happy if we didn't.

Maybe wait to see the reviews of S3 before committing. S2 doesn't get better over the last four episodes. One of the more disappointing second seasons I can remember from a series that got so much right in S1.

Last Frontier- So I'm bad for abandoning a series even if it's bad... and I usually finish it if I start watching, no matter how terrible. I'm doubling down on how bad Last frontier is, I just watched the last episode. Garbage. Don't watch it. The only good thing about the show, for me, are the shots of the Alaska wilderness.
Shoresy- Watched the season finale tonight. Always an entertaining show if you are a hockey fan. This latest season was great, as usual. I just wish episodes were longer. 26 minutes isn't enough for the ridiculousness it brings. Not sure where they'll go for next season after this one. It has been renewed for a sixth season.

This is the thing...the first couple episodes I thought were good. I also thought the premise was good and I wanted to like it.
But hoo boy...that went off the rails and fast. Sometimes shows like that need some time to find their feet, but I felt that show went in the opposite direction.
The concept of a plane full of some of the most hardened criminals crash lands in a small remote town and the local Sheriff who mostly deals with mundane day-to-day infractions all of a sudden has to deal with that was, in my mind, a cool idea. That could have been fun all on it's own...but man did it just spin out of control and turn into a complete mess.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
If. You like the British Bake Off you might have heard that Prue is leaving the show. Today they announced that her replacement will be Nigella Lawson. She's a great cook, and sexy as hell, so I'm stoked she's going to be the new judge, and look forward to even more innuendo from Alison and Noel.

Hey have we talked about Constellation on Apple in here at all? Holy crap, that's a sick show. Just binged it over the past couple of days. It's like a mashup of Stranger Things, Dark and For All Mankind (but not nearly as boring).
Highly recommend.
Whoa, I didn’t know I was so far behind! Just sort of binged it - loved it. ‘Sort of binged it’ because I found it hard to watch 2 episodes back to back. Just the right amount of horror for me.
