If it transitioned into something like that, I'm not sure if I'd be 100% on board or if it would ruin it for me.
I guess it depends on how its done.
Seeing as theres going to be a time-jump, I wonder how much of the asteroid is going to be mined and if its going to revolve around an economic/political stand-off between Mars and Earth?
What are the Tax Laws on Mars? Do mining profits have to pay Earth Taxes? What if there is an Embargo from the Intergalactic Trade Federation and the Republic has to send some emissaries to negotiate a truce?

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Just started watching this in the last few weeks. Wow! Just about to wrap up season 3. This is up there for me with Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Better call Saul, The Sopranos and The Wire (And the first season of True Detective) as among the best shows that have ever been made.
like Ed and the gang can just sabotage a trillion dollar international space mission and start a riot that almost (lame) gets someone killed and assume they will just be able to still work there moving forward? Also during the riot one gun shot has them all put aside their differences and stop lol The #### was that?

Spoiler!
It's more real to life I think. Everyone is a tough guy until things get real. Like that scene in 8 Mile when Cheddar Bob pulls the gun.
Pfft....story of my life! I was sort of co-watching it with a guy who was getting it a day before me!
Thats why I like dedicated threads like this one as opposed to discussing specific shows in the mega-threads, those threads have stuff everywhere whereas threads like this localize stuff from the specific show so I can just ignore it until I'm caught up.
So...if you weren't caught up...you probably shouldnt have opened the thread.

According to the official synopsis, the show “picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.”

In addition to the new season of “For All Mankind,” a spinoff series, “Star City,” is also in the works. The series, also from Moore, Nedivi and Wolpert, shot last year in Vilnius, Lithuania, which stood in for the Russian cosmonaut training facility officially known as the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, but commonly referred to as Star City. The series stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Solly McLeod, Agnes O’Casey, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Priya Kansara. Not much is known about the new series, although Star City has been a prominent setting in “For All Mankind” in the past.

I was almost caught up on the shows I watch on Apple and was planning on switching out for another service soon but I guess I need to wait a couple more months.
