It certainly puts his Davis Cup appearance in early February in jeopardy as well. Aside from Diallo, I'm paying hundreds of dollars (my wife and I are attending) to essentially watch a challenger event lol

Rune, Fils, and Draper are the others with the raw talent to be the 3rd as well, but guess what, they're all hobbled too. It's like Sincaraz has snipers taking out potential rivals before they can fully develop

No sir - Felix is playing Dubai, I think Shapo might do the same.
Edit: I meant to type Rotterdam, it's the same weekend as the Davis Cup in Vancouver

Victoria is back in action tonight in singles versus Caty McNally. Meanwhile, Leylah has teamed up with Timea Babos (a fine doubles player} and they will play their opening round doubles match later today as well.
Vicky is also playing doubles with the rising young American star Iva Jovic and they won their opening round doubles match last night.

Interestingly, Leylah has teamed up with Kyrgios for mixed doubles.

Yeah, as Cam posted above, I don't think Nick is going to have much of a singles career left, but doubles is a different game and with his serve and hand skills, he can certainly do some damage. Leylah is no slouch herself when it comes to doubles either, it's an intriguing team to watch no doubt.

So he won't be in Vancouver either. It's sad what the Davis Cup has become.

The reunion of Gaby Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani was victorious just now as they eliminated Jessica Pegula and McCartney Kessler in straight sets.

Victoria breaks to take the opening set 6-4 over McNally. Vicky playing some excellent tennis as the American is a game competitor thus far.

Vicki was great today. The American played well, actually. Mboko was just that much better. 6 straight in 2nd set

Yes sir, was down a double break in set 2 at love-3 and then rolled off six straight games. Never really gets flustered which is great for someone so young.

ADF this time comes out on the right side of a tense result, surviving a big scare from serve bot Opelka in a drama filled 6-3 7-6(3) 5-7 4-6 6-4 win.

Tiafoe v Demon in the third round should be good, then Bublik (presumably) against the winner.

Keep an eye on young Spaniard Rafael Jodar, he went bonkers on the challenger tour lin 2025 and he also won the 2024 US Open junior title. I'm not saying he's going to upset Mensik, but I think he's going to provide a stern test.
Edit: Jodar lost in straight sets. Brighter days ahead for the kid I'm sure.

Ethan Quinn knocking out Hubi Hurkacz in straight sets is a surprise - I know Hubi is still on the comeback trail, but he played some fine tennis at the United Cup defeating both Zverev and Fritz.

Did she get booed?
Hubi bundled out in straight sets. Have to think he's not fully recovered because that's a pretty disappointing way to exit.
Beaten to it by Dash.

I think it was more a case of the Greek fans going berserk for Sakkari.
