Lane Hutson penalized for horrifying act of violence
After seeing this I sure am glad the Flames didn't draft him!!!

That's .... Er. Uh huh. Mhmmmm. One of the penalties of all time.

That does have to be one of the worst penalty calls of all time. Not even close to touching him.

As far as egregiousness goes it's right up there with the offside Duchene goal that gave us the challenge system.

You always have to be cautious of the snipers in the stands. Was there a makeup call after?

From the refs angle it probably looked like a trip...not like it hasn't happened before

This is why teams should be very careful about drafting mimes.

I hate the Habs obviously, but that was truly no good reffing. At all. Like three blind mice bad.
Disgraceful.

Was that referee looking after an Oilers game last time out? Probably difficult to get out of the mode of calling those types of plays in the Oilers' favour.

Norm!

If the league is serious about player safety they need to send a message here and suspend Hutson for at least 5 games, its clear that he used some kind of psychic power on that play, and that cannot and should not be tolerated.
What a disgrace.

Personally, if I pull a Jedi mind trick on an opposing player, I’ll just wave my stick and go, ‘This isn’t the puck you’re looking for.’

Stop making excuses for these clowns. The NHL has the most incompetent officials in all of pro sports and they are protected by Uncle Gary from ever being at fault.

I’d be embarrassed to accept a powerplay on that.
Didn’t Cale Makar once tell a ref he hadn’t been fouled?

All I can get

I could see a player bowled over by the smell of an Oiler from three feet.

I wonder if he gets an in person hearing tomorrow. Telekinesis has no place in hockey.

Season-Long suspension to the Blue Line.
For shame Blue Line! For shame! They trusted you. They loved you...and this is how you repay them?
To the Penalty Box with you...feel shame!
