Here's the gwg. Parekh is 39 in black. Yeah "being very far out of position due to risks taken" is a very apt descriptor on this play. 4 - 7 seconds in im a little confused where he was going and why. that said he is just back from injury, with a new team.

its 3 on 3 OT...11 is trying to toe drag 3 guys. He should have given Zayne the puck or dropped it to the other player not one man show

100%. That’s not on Parekh at all. He was not catching Jones after the other Wrangler turned it over, better to stay deep in case the puck comes back the other way.

The trailing forward was really the responsible party. Went too deep anticipating an offensive opportunity, not recognizing the high risk play the puck carrier was about to attempt instead of making the quick pass to the open man (Parekh), then was caught having his man wide open for a breakaway from his own blueline in. I actually give Parekh some credit there for reading that well and moving into a position to receive an easy pass for a high danger shot on goal. The puck carrier was dumb in trying to toe drag multiple players instead of dishing the puck. The two forwards blew that, not Parekh.

Just looking through the stats... Jeremie Poirier with only 6 points in 32 games, woof. I had pretty much lost faith an NHL player was there but wow, what a drop off for an offensive dman. I imagine he won't be getting another contract after this year.

That's fair, Pospisil and Stromgren were the other players on the ice. This trio can be forgiven for lack of chemistry or being a little discombobulated here IMO
Pospisil - first game back on a conditioning stint after not playing since preseason
Stromgren - first game back after being sent down
Parekh - first game in weeks since world juniors, on a conditioning stint.

Murphy was sent down to RC so it sounds like Prosvetov is ready to return to action. He and Sergeev will probably split the upcoming games against Laval.

Looked pretty good.
Offence noticeably better when he’s on the ice, the vision and awareness in WJ shape.

Good guys lose 5-3 to Laval, but Parekh is named third star, with 2a, and even.
Sergeev stops 21 of 26 in 56:41. He is 1-3-4-0, with a 2.87 GAA, and a .911 SV%.
Hunt (Frk, Miromanov)
Ciona (Silye, Parekh)
Suniev (Parekh, Kerins)
