Default New flash game from maker of Desktop D.

http://www.candystand.com/play.do?id=18047

It's called "Vector TD". It's from David Scott the guy that made that first version of Desktop Tower Defense. Lots of different weapons and "creeps", also has new maps and four bonus items.

This is not as fun as desktop TD since you don't get to develop your own maze.

I played this for a couple hours last night. I have yet to pass the easiest level. I had dreams about this game last night.

That's what I did last night. I like games like this that only take 10 seocnds of your time at a time. Good for hanging out with the wife and kid, especially since they won't see me come 14/8 when Madden '08 comes out.

I believe all towers are equally weak against it, instead of one having a larger damage points against them.

I've found placing just enough defence to prevent them from getting by and building up money works best. I put all the first bonuses towards interest until it's nearly 20%. When the little dudes get too powerful for me, I will start using the damage and range bonuses, because by then I'll have a better idea/cluster where my defences are located. I've ended the game unable to spend my money fast enough.

Use the 3rd level red ones, and upgrade them up to ten (only upgrade when necessary as it costs a lot, just to rack up the interest)

Purple towers? any use? has any had any use for the purple towers?

I haven't been able to do the up and down medium map, and the hard ones are really hard... Are most going with the the 1st red, then 1st blue, then add blues and lvl 3 red as much as possible?

Woo hoo, finally got to Level 44. Just over 3 mill points. I'll try the saving thing BA, I guess just like real life I spend the money as soon as I get it. The second level towers have been my favorite so far, I dont like how slow the 3rd level ones are but I will give em a try.

I start off with first level red, only upgrade when I need to, and build up money and interest. If I do that, with 2 of the first level red I can get up to 15% or 18%
