What I noticed is Zary was trusted with Gridin considering Naz isn't exactly a Selke contender these days.

I like this version the best, it focuses on Andersson until everyone leaves the ice

It was nice to see Gridin have a good first game after being recalled. He looked dangerous at times, blocked a shot, and also showed good judgement by making some simple safe plays.

It's obviously just his fifth NHL game and first since October, but if this is who he is, the kid looks ready.

The way he skated around the ice after the game just looking at everything, soaking it in, good luck Ras!

Flames fans have never been great at that stuff, as many fan bases aren't. Montreal, Edmonton, New York, Chicago etc. There's a few special places for stuff like this, but most are just cookie cutter, come to the game, drink beers, entertain clients and have an outing fanbases, that's where we fall.

Flames fans have never been great at that stuff, though. It's a cooperate fan base for the most part.
90% of the dome probably has no idea Rasmus is about to be traded...

I assume the average fan would have no idea it was *maybe* his last game.

… this wasn’t going to be different in any other building in the league for a player from any other team. A handful of die hard rumour obsessed fans would be aware of it, and most of the building wouldn’t.

I don't think a lot of the casuals in Calgary even know Ras is getting traded, and most certainly aren't F5ing CP.
