I do wonder what Andersson thinks of Boston… I don’t think the flames would have taken negotiations this far with Boston without knowing if Andersson would consider signing with them. Hopefully they can get this across the line.

The positive takeaway with Boston is that there appears to be good faith negotiation between the two parties on extension.
If Boston thought Andersson's demands were too much or if Andersson didn't want to consider Boston's offer, the Flames would probably moved on to another team.

Andersson and his agent are negotiating a deal with Boston to see if they can get something done.
He's arrived yesterday late afternoon. Had a game to play today. Give the guy some time to think about where he's going to play and live for the next 6-8 years of his life. I'm not surprised that it's taking some time.
He may not even end up signing with Boston. It's not a guarantee.

Is CC allowed to put a “In-season signing condition” in each of these packages to prevent teams from trading as a rental with intents to sign at a later point
If so, this might be that be the glue that holds this all together and is keeping Boston honest
