Yeah, and this tracks with all we've heard...

If the Bruins can get a commitment from Ras, their (extension) offer is the best offer. If not, and they don't pony up without the commitment, VGS' offer is better than Boston's no-extension offer.

That's where I think it stands. We need Ras to agree to extend in Beantown

Who gives a rat's ### if Vegas feels they can extend Anderson. Get out of here if you can't offer up a good package. Why would Flames devalue their pick? Price should actually be higher for Vegas.

Vegas has so few assets to offer that even their very best "with extension" package would be a pittance compared to any other teams "rental" package. And that STILL doesn't account for the self-harm that would come from the Flames holding the Vegas 1st round pick.

Nothing about a trade with Vegas makes sense and every other destination would be better to deal with.

I wish the media would stop bringing Vegas up in this conversation but I am sure the Vegas team is intentionally working to keep their name in there. Kinda like how Brad (and the Leafs) have to be in on everything.

If that were true, they wouldn't still be in the mix.

Conroy isn't going to take a lesser return from VGS than they can get from another team - why would he?

It's only up to Andersson if he is willing to extend. If not, all teams have a fair shot at a non-extension return.

But at this point they are trying to get the extension to maximize the return
