Why the F is Huska putting Ras out on the PK where he has a higher likelihood of getting hurt?

I think PK has less chance of getting injured . There are shots to block but no hits. Especially no collisions by the boards.

I’m firmly on team tank and would prefer we forfeit all remaining games and trade everyone…

…but damn I love Devin Cooley.

Also, if you're going to dress a guy, you're going to play the guy...

I’m increasingly not a fan of Huska’s. Nothing I’ve seen gives me confidence that he’ll help this team develop.

That said, of course Ras is on the PK, and of course Ras is playing a lot. He’s pretty much this teams best player at this stage, and he’s in the line-up. He’ll play him for what he is, our best defenceman/player.

Ras being in the line-up is Conroy’s risk, not Huska’s.

Yeah, maybe more chance of injury as well, if you are thrown out only for the odd shift or too and aren't as focused.

Or you know you limit him to only PP or just sit him. You don't play him a bunch of minutes, that's just a stupid risk.

Huska’s job is to get blood from a stone. Just what he’s mostly doing.

Huska’s job is to win games. Period.

The moment he does anything otherwise he loses the room and gets fired anyways.

So you play the team and style that you think wins. There is no other option for him.

You have to respect that.

It’s the coaches job to win with the roster he has.

Plus no doubt Conroy is playing chicken.

If there's no trade yet, you play him. I don't think there's trades are just waiting for signatures or anything.

If you play an asset you know you have to move shortly and he gets a long term injury you should be fired immediately for being so short sighted and stupid. If you prioritize risking that over getting one win in a season you are not competing you are a moron.
