Grier needs to make a move if he wants to take a step. San Jose is the perfect fit. Make it so

I think what is going on here is that Ras is resisting the “no scooter“ clause.

Oilfans message was the ball is in Calgary's court, aka Anderssons court. This is likely when he looks at the options infront of him and choses to sign one, or choses not to and Conroy takes the best offer without an extension. Just do it already!

I'm going to reply to every one of Bonded's posts next year with the trade information if all we get is Ihs-Wozniak and a 2nd.

Not really any "more vegas rumors" there are just people here losing their nerve and spiraling because it hasn't been completed yet

You have bad feelings about everything. That appears to be what you live for.

I think there is just a lot of speculation because it's not done yet after it bring real close last night (people thought it was done IMO) ...but I wouldn't be surprised if Ras wanted time to assess it with his family in person.

I'm not sure anybody is really out yet but maybe there are offers from teams on the table and Ras just has to make his decision now about where he wants to spend the next 7-8 years of his life.

It’s going to be ok
CC is going to make the best decision for the Flames
Rasmus is going to sign where it’s best for him

We are going to argue who won or who lost. Some will be happy with what happened, some will say we aren’t tanking hard enough.

I just hope that after all the dust settles, the young guys that are left, play their asses off and make everyone proud

Well, that's nonsense. When you play NHL 26, the players never take any time at all to make up their minds! Real life is obviously exactly like that. Why are you lying to us?!

Actually in NHL 26 don't players actually take a couple days to get back to you on contract offers now...

And we don't want to get into the whole conversation about a player discussing his future with his wife...we all know how that goes around here

Not sure why that response is necessary or relevant. Prime example of the unneeded negative potential shots lately.

The trade-off would be only dressing 11 forwards, but I think they can survive one game without Hunt's 5:35 of ice time.
lol

Everyone chill, Rasmus just got home and is going through serious discussions with the wife. This is going to take a day or so to get the "blessing" from the boss. Trust me lots of details, driving directions schools, costco locations and shopping centers etc.

You think he was coming home and saying "Hi honey we're moving to Detroit"! His life would end. Lol.

Kind of betting on NYI or WSH making a surprise entrance to this.

As opposed to the shot Rhett44 was making at the Flames' management, which was necessary, relevant, and had positive potential, I suppose?

If Royle, for instance, said he was getting a bad feeling about the trade, that would be worth discussing. For Rhett to get a bad feeling about something the Flames are doing just means another day ending in Y.

You wanted him traded period, and didn't care what the return was.
