Feels like San Jose is the best remaining rumoured team in terms of assets it can offer in a deal. Hope something gets finalized over the weekend.

Just doing his buddy a solid by letting his name be on the list of teams talking to the Flames about Andersson. It could influence another team to think that if so many teams are this close to the end game then maybe we better sweeten our offer.

Also pretty good to have so many teams in the same division. Might be worth it for someone like Detroit to give up that extra piece to keep him from Boston and Toronto

I’d expect we see movement or hold out tomorrow.
I’ve been told offers are all in, some teams out as stated earlier due to lack of extension.

Personally I’m shocked it didn’t happen today/yet, especially with how fast things progressed the last 24hours.

Really sounds like his desire to maximize value going UFA for maybe his one and only time put a curveball on it, with some deals going no where due to lack of extension agreeent.
Things can change, but I’m not sure they pivot that much.
