Yeah by some radical left wing lunatic judge who is trying to legislate from the bench, they're going to appeal and adhere to that order next week when the appeal comes back.
Once your just congratulating someone for shooting a person in the face, there isn't really further to fall, it's all the same #### at this point.

Yes, the classic 2010 Liberal who supported a guy who ignores laws, courts, norms, and has roaming gangs of thugs murdering citizens, while he threatens all of their international partners' territorial integrity. Yes, those were the days all Liberals lined up joyously to glad hand a child rapist.
Stop sniffing glue, man. It's not doing you any favours.

They'll have enough to probably put a dent in it though if they strategically pick their spots. Also, don't underestimate the Nazi citizen "election monitors" that will be hanging around the poll stations. I fully expect more intimidation tactics.

You just have to pick your spots, get them on the news and scare people. Then you don't need as many people across the country. The goal is to make people think, "Hey, if I go out and vote, ICE might show up and drag me out of the line into a van and whisk me off to God knows where". They don't have to actually do it, just get people to think they might.
... Also, if the Insurrection Act is invoked as he has been threatening, they get to use the military to help. Then there's no shortage of manpower. And that's clearly one of the goals of the way ICE has been operating, to escalate until people start to fight back, maybe put some thugs in the hospital, maybe kill one - that's the excuse that the administration will use.

A ton of people don't have proper ID, and most of them are some combination of lower income, urban residents (where you don't need a car and therefore don't need a driver's license), or minorities. Hence why the GOP is always the party pushing the idea of "voter fraud" and the need for voter ID to vote - it's not actually about ensuring that people who can't vote don't vote, it's about making it harder to vote for the groups of people who are likely to vote against you.
I thought this was all common knowledge at this point.

i've only ever voted in canadian elections.... you get the voting 'card' in the mail, show up at the polling station, show ID and go vote. i don't really pay attention to stuff in the states - especially with the orange cheeto in power.
just so i've got this correct....

really??? so i could show up and just say "i'm corsi" and they'd let me vote?
i'm just kind of surprised it would be that 'easy' to vote.
for those without a drivers license do they not have "ID cards" available? i know a few people who don't drive and they have a bcid card. looks like a drivers license but it's just an id card

yea - that's brutal and just not right.... not that it seems to matter in the states anymore
i totally agree with #-3 about the intimidation factor - which is totally unacceptable

Another thing they can do, is have plants in the lines, state that they caught illegal aliens trying to vote, this is the tip of the iceberg, yadda yadda yadda…election fraud.

You can do that in Canadian Elections, They give you a form you have to fill out, you sign an affidavit that you are so and so who lives on x lane, and they hand you a ballet that goes in a different box that is counted separately, and they really only bother scrutinizing if it ends up mattering.
I voted in one election unregistered with a piece of mail when I moved at 22, then when I moved a 27 I voted in another election unregistered and signed a form swearing I was rightfully allowed to place that ballet, wrong address on the id, no real questions. I think they were both federal in a Calgary riding.

Yup, there are three options to vote in Canada using ID or otherwise:
https://www.elections.ca/content2.as...g=e§ion=id
But that's sort of beside the point, because even if you were in a state that required photo ID to vote, obviously if you showed up to any polling station with your driver's license you'd be allowed to vote. If ICE asks you to prove you're a citizen, your driver's license is of no value. Hell, they've reportedly refused to accept even a birth certificate as proof.
This is part of the plan: create chaos and uncertainty - and therefore, fear - where no one knows what the rules are because there aren't really any rules.
