I’m starting to think this is the perfect move for San Jose the more I think on it. He has a swagger to run that whole D core. Young enough but getting better. Fans will love him.
They need to build that D up now for the future and UFAs are becoming less common

And he wasn't even a can't miss 1st OV pick. Immediate payoff for them. We need a forward that comes in and at minimum challenges for leading the team in points. Not hard with this team though.

I wonder if the Flames have completely obfuscated the rumour mill by design. There are two teams, there are six teams. Priority is to trade Kadri and keep Coleman. Priority is to trade Coleman and keep Kadri.
There's so much crap out there that it's impossible to get a read other than knowing Andersson is getting traded.
Maybe that's Hanlon's influence as an AGM?
