Wanted to reiterate that SJ is only in if he signs an extension with them otherwise they would be out like Boston is. It seems Boston was told he wouldn't sign long term. Sharks haven't been told one way or another yet if he would re-sign. It seems like Vegas was the team over the year where his preference was but the door isn't shut on San Jose.

Here's random guesses for me to throw at the wall:
- Higher of San Jose's or Edmonton's 1st round pick
- Sam Dickinson
- Carson Wetsch

it's probably already been mentioned; Frank Seravalli said the Flames have given permission for Andersson's agent to negotiate an extension

I wonder if talking to Cali goalie tandem helps sell the area for the Sharks.

Just go pure rental if Vegas is the only place he’ll sign

Bystedt, Graf and a 1st for extended Andersson would be a haul

Not really. Danielson was a 9OA pick. Bystedt was 27 and Musty was 26.
Maybe if it was both Bystedt and Musty they could combine into Danielson... but in the draft no one would buy the idea of trading 9 for 26 and 27.
IMO, the Sharks would need to go bigger than a second tier prospect to match Danielson.

I’ll go out on a limb and say the Flames will not be getting Dickinson. Not sure SJ would do that 1 for 1.

I don't mind if Boston is out. I don't like Poitras and I'm not high on Lohrei.
The pick is compelling as it could be higher I guess.
My preference from the rumored teams:
1. Detroit
2. SJ
3. LA
4. Boston
5. Vegas.

I’ll add that to my facts sheet

I guess we're into the unrealistic return expectations phase that comes just before the masses tag onto it that comes just before the "That's its??"

Does anyone have a good read on what the LA offer even is? I agree with that take Jiri, though I might jockey boston higher again based on what the pick they are offering is. If there's a higher of the two condition in that would rocket them back up for me.

I would probably put BOS above LAK. If nothing else, trying to get the Leafs 1st this year could still lead to epic hilarity.
But really hoping for Red Wings or Sharks to pull ahead and send us a C!!!

Alot of the responses to proposals say "Flames aren't getting X prospect" because they're higher end pieces. I'd like to see the Flames be willing to ADD to Anderson to get someone we know will be a player.

They wouldn't trade Dickenson straight up for Andersson. And the Flames would jump at that.
In trade value, Dickenson would be close to Parekh, more or less.
The idea of trading for Andersson is for him to add to the dman core of Dickenson going forward.
