Pre-season, and the way he finished last year had me very worried. I even thought we should've kept Prosvetov ahead of him. Boy was I wrong. Excellent work by Cooley, and the Flames goalie coaches for building up his game. He's probably the best backup in the NHL this season.
I actually kinda wish he'd found success on a playoff team, so he could play meaningful games. Will be years until the Flames are back on the bubble. Being a late bloomer, he's got a limited career at this level remaining.
