Genuinely had to laugh at the attempt to rebrand not watching the games, not cheering for the team, and just going online to repeat the same thought 5-7 times per day as “being a passionate fan.”



Then you’ve got some retread telling people to eat #### because someone disagreed with him on the internet and a bunch of people who can’t ignore the posts that can’t ignore the other posts recommending to the posters they can’t ignore to ignore the posters they can’t ignore.

Tidy little night. You can always tell when the Flames win these days lol.

Grab a couple of pops together, and then see how utterly stupid the minuscule details that create such a large variation of opinions are, and laugh at the stupidity of it all.

Oh I don't take any of this stuff personally or think it matters in the real world...haven't we actually met IRL? Didn't I buy some videogame stuff from you? IDK I buy a lot of videogame stuff but I think so.

So this is very conspiracy theory at this point...but Kadri has looked off for the last month and has 1 point in the last 12 games.

Which is weird because that stretch coincides with Danault being traded to Montreal, which was rumoured to be Kadri's preferred trade destination if he was moved, and the noise around him has really quieted down from the insiders since then.

Prior to Dec 20 (day of the Danault trade) he had 31 points in 35 games and looked good.

Since Dec 20 he has 1 point in 12 games and has not looked like himself

Probabky just a coincidence but I found the timing of it all interesting.

With a guy like Kadri, I imagine once he got word the Andersson thing was picking up and going in the direction it's going in...I wouldn't be shocked if that had a direct impact on focus/execution. Dude has to be weighing his options, if he hasn't already. We've also now kind of heard that he'd be open to moving to a contender... With what we've heard lately, it won't shock me to see Andersson and Kadri be the two on the way out.

And Montreal has had a nice record since then (Danault has almost doubled his points as well and obviously has outscored Kadri).

I think in general Kadri wants to compete and this team just isn’t competing.

That's just it...Kadri is a big game player

Tank season doesnt suit him. I bet he goes on a big run if traded...he is motivated by a chance at winning a cup

Well IMO I think the situation that changed in Montreal was Kapanen playing so well.

They thought they needed a second line center behind Suzuki, but then Kapanen has flourished in that role and think they determined no need to pay a premium for a top 6 center.

Might as well get a more defensively responsible center like Danault for the third line and keep giving Kapanen leash.

Kadri was along for the ride when this team was playing great and got to NHL .500 and close to a WC spot at end of December.

If the excuse is that he was lacking motivation during that time, it doesn't really track.

Ooh, Steinberg getting distracted during his show as he received a few texts from some of his connections saying things continue to move along in regards to a trade. He says don't expect anything tonight, but progress is being made. He has said more than once including just a few seconds ago during the call in show that a move isn't too far away.
