Him constantly going to the net, creating traffic and deflection opportunities. Making it hard on the opposition. He was unlucky not to find a couple of the pucks that were laying at his feet as he was battling in front of the opposition's net. A couple of nice passes as well.

I also thought he did well at digging out pucks for Kadri along with Farabee.

Tell you what, I'll make it easier for you, you can watch the highlights for yourself:

I don't understand why Morton isn't playing. He drew 2 penalties and then I didn't see him play much after. But I was fine with his game.

Team Tank or not, if you didn't enjoy that Backlund goal, why are you even wasting your time watching the games?

Backlund undressed Knight so hard he had to get new pads at the intermission.

Two Hawks go ass over tea-kettle over each other. Now that is high comedy!

They needed a winger. And Hunt is 3 years older than Morton, not 5 ( when did being older mean you are a worse player when all your stats are better?)

Huberdeau cant even get pucks in deep.

Turnover, change, turnover, change...rinse and repeat.

Skip the middle-man and just keep him on the bench.

well the age thing is wrong factually, the rest is wrong based on opinion. Hunt is the Wranglers best player most nights. Gridin can have a pass because of age but the rest of them? If Hunt is a tweener at best why can't any of them outplay him and make it an easy decision?

That looked better for the Hawks. Their previous powerplays looked bad.

The AHL, and NHL are different leagues. For example, I'd argue that Honzek looked better at the NHL, than at the AHL.

I agree that Kerins and Hunt are pretty similar at the AHL level, but I think a guy like Kerins thinks the game at a higher level, so his skills should translate better to the NHL.

Maybe, I was replying to "Morton is a far better player"

there is no real evidence of that

Refs doing all they can to get the Hawks back into the game. 4 straight powerplays.
