It's been an issue with the PA (or the league, can't recall which) for a while or something.

Hamilton was scratched officially because Kovacevic was returning. He has since returned to the lineup. Mangiapane was scratched because he was terrible. He also played recently games on Jan. 12 and 13, the last two Oilers games.

Not claiming to be an insider, but I do have one source indicating that Carolina is in the mix on Raz. Thought it was interesting since they aren’t one of the teams regularly mentioned.

Ras is in a contract year...him and the PA wont be happy about missing games in January. He is one of the teams best players. The other players mentioned have been legit healthy scratched.

Well, if it was to with trades it was because he wasn't letting them trade him (NMC), not because he was about to be traded.
