He's old enough at this stage that he should have some damn perspective on it. The fact that he's still getting his feelings hurt, with his track record, shows very little sense of being self aware - and it does nothing but make me feel even more certain that he shouldn't flipping be here.

Like when McLennan was on the show a few weeks ago I think he said something to the effect of Maloney's a good guy but also he's not a media guy at all and should never be asked to do it. Sounds about right. Take your lumps and move on.

I agree Maloney should grow a thicker skin, and this is not or shouldn't be a big deal. That said, I confess I might be sour if I screwed something up on the job (and maybe got chewed out over it) and then someone made a t-shirt rubbing my nose in it. Of course, my approach would probably to have been to get out in front of it and make fun of myself more.
