The last three days of weather has been my kind of winter. Perfection.

And some dandy sunrises/sunsets to boot.

Looks like "I wish it was hotter" guy is getting his wish this week.

AccuWeather forecasting 14 above mid week
The Weather Network is calling for 11
and Environment Canada is displaying 19 degrees

Who will win?

I find Environment Canada is always overly optimistic and The Weather Network is pessimistic, so I will go with Accuweather's +14.

Haha I could see that. It's to the point I naturally just add 3-5°C to whatever WN says the daytime high will be during the warm weather months, as that's usually how it plays out.

Fun weather.

I trenched out the ice on along the curb to the storm drain to speed up the water drainage. This way it hopefully doesn't freeze into large sheets of perfect slippery ice once it gets cold again in the coming few days. It felt really satisfying to see water not accumulating for 3 houses until the storm drain. This vs deep flooded puddles due to ice dams across the street that block drainage to storm drains with puddles deep enough that they can probably submerge a small dog.

I also broke down sections of snow piles and ice and flattened any peaks to make sure work and street parking doesn't continue to be blocked/scrape the bottom of the vehicle as you go by.

Looks like we topped out at 17.2 at the airport.

Look at you all industrious and #### on this otherwise inauspicious Wednesday in January.

I just let it melt and make people deal with the slop!

Amusingly, the usually too optimistic EC reeled it back to 15 in the last couple days while TWN's prediction shot up to 17, which was dead on.

I actually got to go outside and set up my patio lights today. It was quite nice. Thumbs up to this insanely nice weather.
