This was the return that I said we would get in the summer. I will take it, but IMO it still is appearing like it would have been better to do this in the summer. Now is good though, Parekh needs to play.
Maybe we get more than this rumour too. But I would love that unprotected 1st.

The only way I see being Vegas is if that’s the only place Ras extends or if he won’t extend anywhere and they have the best no extension offer (because all the no extension offers will be lower and Vegas might be able to compete with those).
Hopefully Conroy had options and was able to drive the price up.

The two piece I like the most from Dallas are Bichsel and Schmidt, hopefully one or both of those are involved if that's the team. If Hemming is the rumor Bichsel probably isn't coming but Schmidt being involved would be great, he is a boom or bust prospect who could end up in the A, but also feel like he has a higher ceiling than Hemming if his development goes well with how fast he is.

I know it's more bullets in the chamber, which is always a good thing, but I'm not really holding my breath for a return including a first round pick and first round caliber prospect like Francis suggests. I can't see contenders lining up to move known prospect entities they have drafted and are developing, plus a high pick for what is likely a 30 game rental.
Andersson can have his pick of the litter in July and would be pretty foolish to extend now unless the location and money is so ludicrous that he just can't say no. It feels like a Miromanov/deferred first type of return is brewing - I would gladly be wrong but at this stage of the season and likelihood of having no extension in place, I just don't see a whole lot to be excited about coming back on this one.
