Notice how the pens/skinner article is focused on wins while the oilers articles are focused on his stats padding (usually on the PP after faking a hold/dive).
There will be a big asterisk next to McButtplug's career when he has 0 championships next to his name.
And mostly because of choosing to waste time on the incompetent oilers. Which entirely falls on him for being an idiot and caring more about his buddies and having coach-veto privileges.
I bet Celebrini gets his hands on Stanley first. Literally any franchise player is more about their team and winning than that dope.
Looking forward to more banshee screams after a round 1 out.

I get the mocking for McDavid for continuing to stay on a poorly run team with 2 superstars. He likely would gladly leave and go to a better run franchise and try to win there but that as discussed before, any team acquiring him would have to gut their team and he would be no better off there, at lease he has his future Selke winner, Leon. LOL. I don't really care if he wins a cup elsewhere as long as he doesn't win it in mullet town. At this point, i dont see him winning 1.

With Jarry being made of glass and their alternatives among the league-worst, theres no way they go very far this year.
The west still sucks, but the top teams are better than they have been lately.
Colorado or Minnesota would handle them with ease.

How long before Baron Von Grumpenstein says Auf Wiedersehen? I'm sure he'd like to win a Stanley Cup too.

I don't have his personal number, but I am sure if you start calling physio clinics in Edmonton you'll get a hold of him eventually.

I suppose stat padding was part of the reason to stay in Edmonton. Anywhere else they may limit his ice time and actually care about all the goals against.

Jarry rocking an .852 today and is absolutely the lone, sole reason for the loss.

They can change out goalie but they cannot change the SV%.

I’d like to share an additional perspective. It’s on McDavid.
When you see the replay on the OT goal, Mavi loses the puck on a set play where he circles around to get a drop pass. The man with the magical crossovers doesn’t bother to make any effort to do one and coasts back. He’s waving his arms in the air to get the goalie to come out of the net and pass to him after the predator flipped the puck into the oilers defensive zone.
He’s basically calling his goalie out of the net…except the goalie is second to the puck. Preds score. Mavi barely made it to his own side of the ice by crossing the red line, and never crossed the blue line. Cue the Mavi pout.
It’s amazing that Mavi called the goalie out of the net and was demanding a pass. Not a leader.

There will be nothing but complaining since they were gifted only 4 power plays. How many games this season has the opponent had more PP opportunities than the Oilers?
I’ve said it a thousand times.. that is a bad hockey team. Absolutely horrendous defensively and one of the worst 5v5 teams in the league. Only way they ever get by is with the power play. The continuous felating of these chumps to try to make everyone think they are Cup contenders is an absolute joke.

It’s Mangiapane’s fault.

McDavid was never even his defensive zone in OT.

Question, on behalf of all the McDavid fans out there:
What's a defensive zone?

It's 3 on 3 overtime and Mcavi is just floating around the centre circle living up to his name of no D. If that's your captain and his effort, you're not inspiring your team to greater things, you can only expect the same amount of effort from everyone else. That would drive me nuts if I was an Oilers fan, which thankfully i'm not, nor ever wil be.
