I’m not sure if it was posted elsewhere, but apparently WestJet on its newest planes has reduced the legroom on its budget fares. I’m 6’2, and it was just manageable.

Fill up your 2L water bottle at home, not at the water fountain at the gym!

They are getting eviscerated over this. Absolutely refuse to use Westjet, just always garbage. Years ago from Orlando I was in some cramped seats and basically had a panic attack. I'm small too, the big dude next to me was freaking out as well. Its is jarring, cannot imagine these new ones. Its like being in an MRI for 6 hours. They are rarely cheaper anyway.

Then they will belly ache that passengers are snapping and getting drunk as fata and play stupid.

Been seeing this image around, in relation to WestJet's new seating plan. Been feeling like this for a while now, though.

That image reminds me of flying to Anchorage on an Air Canada Rouge flight. I am pretty evenly proportioned between legs and torso, and at 5'10", my knees were firmly planted in the back of the seat in front of me. Just awful.

I had a seat like that when I took a flight to the Philippines. I'm 6'0 and I basically sat on my jacket to get the correct angle to sit/squat some semblance of comfortable. The top of the seat was basically at my shoulders. I've been in the back of an Integra where the legroom was worse, but at least the seat didn't end before your torso did.

It wasn't too comfy, but I felt bad for a guy who was 6'2/6'3 on same the flight where he too was stand/squatting and the top of the seat basically was in his middle/lower trapezoid. I think he stood as much as possible once the seatbelt sign was off.

Odd socks. When the house consisted of a family of four, I understood that socks would be misplaced now and then. I'm by myself a lot of the time these days just washing my own clothes, and somehow the odd sock manages to just vanish. It's like something sinister is going on with socks in my house.

Mesh bags reduces the odds of socks going missing. I've been doing this for my nicer socks that I don't want to go missing. One time I pulled out a fitted sheet and found about half a dozen socks in the corner. Another time, I found a few inside the blanket cover. Occasionally, static charged into the pocket or inside of my clothing and missed when others are folding clothes.

I have a post washing, single sock bin. Every few months I'll pour them out, start sorting by color and look for pairs. I'll get maybe 3-4 pairs, but everything else is just singles.

I still have like 30-40 single socks over the last 2 years for a family of 4. It's mind boggling that many socks have gone missing. I might start using them as disposable cloth rags/crafts or sorta as light cloth protectors for certain things going forward because there's too many.

I'm also thinking my wife or kids might be throwing out single socks that are very worn out and then forgetting to mention it, but I have no concrete evidence. I've occasionally found single socks in the garbage. We're infusing something like half a dozen pairs of socks into the "system" for the kids 2-3x a year, especially since they've rapidly started to outgrow the old ones. I'm starting to ask my wife to just buy the same grouping of colors/styles so there will always be extra pairs with extra sock to mingle with/pair up with.

First time I repaired my dryer, I found three socks inside the dryer assembly. I couldn't believe it.

When I first moved out on my own (and, therefore, relatively poor), I had crappy IKEA 'jersey' sheets. It's basically sock material, so in that instance, there's no difference between washing socks and sheets. They're just socks for a mattress.

Socks, underwear, towels, undershirts can all be washed together IMO. Wash on normal/warm then straight into the dryer.

I wash my jeans, hoodies, polos and t-shirts together because I use cold and hang them all.

I don't fk with white or red clothes so I don't have to worry about separating those out (my undershirts are black).

Do you look a bit like an Oreo with the undershirt?

Yeah, I really don’t know why anyone would waste their time sorting laundry unless you’re bleaching stuff.
